The founders Matthew Tomlinson, Richard Anderson, and Mathew Donfrancesco have worked together in insurtech since the late nineties. Between them, they've worked for multiple large insurers and built two successful companies of their own: OpenUnderwriter – the world's most downloaded open source insurance platform, and INSHUR – a global insurer that began life offering pioneering in-app taxi insurance to the US market.

A strong advisory board augments the team, consisting of Professor Andy Pardoe, AI Influencer, author and futurist, Dan Draper, Chief Underwriting Officer for Axis Capital, and Thad Hall, VP Alternative Investments, AXA XL.
